In the smfforfree forum I used to frequent, there was simply an admin option to add an arcade o:

It'd display as a small tab on the top menu labeled "Arcade" and it basically has a bunch of flash games where forum members could submit their highscores and whatnot, kinda like neopets LOL so basically it's just for fun
